I use American Crew's - Di-Fi.

I have short hair and it is the best damn thing that i have found. (i tried everything) It goes for like 12 bucks a jar, but it's totally worth it. And a little bit of this stuff goes a LOOOOONG way.

use a mud instead of pomade or wax.

styling mud, not regular dirt and water = mud.
